Our Story

Led by brothers Jason and Keven Azevedo, MRCA is focused on preserving US manufacturing by helping transition legacy US manufacturers to the next stage of ownership. Starting their first company when they were 15 and 20, respectively, Jason and Keven have built, expanded, and acquired several companies throughout their career. Growing up, they saw firsthand what happens to communities when their cornerstone companies are overtaken by corporate raiders. This has impacted them to this day and set them on the mission to do something different. Focusing on legacy US manufacturing companies, they understand the importance of keeping strong companies in their local communities. Having an extensive manufacturing and business background, the brothers have been in several industries and use their accumulated knowledge to transition skill sets between industries.

Our Vision

The MRCA group consists of long-standing US manufacturing companies built by dedicated teams. MRCA groups act as independent organizations with the support of the MRCA family. Having a wide breadth of industries, clients, and skill sets, there is little that the MRCA family does not have knowledge in. Our family of companies have instant access to real-time problem solving. People are the greatest asset to manufacturing when they are taken out of silos and empowered to innovate, and our company culture lives and breathes that level of collaboration. We are just scratching the surface of what our family of companies can do when they have the support they need.

THE BIG
DIFFERENTIATOR

Our differentiator is the revitalization of the American worker through the addition of technology and training to create the most effective manufacturing workforce in the world.

We acquire companies with a heart and soul, built by dedicated teams ready to scale their respective products and services.

“Made in America” isn’t just a slogan, it’s our driving force.

The Opportunity

While the vast majority of US manufacturing companies are significant to their local communities, they are not aligned with the future of the global manufacturing supply chain. Through our deployment of technology and innovative manufacturing processes, the companies we acquire will be better positioned to compete in the global economy of tomorrow.

The right focus for the U.S. is on advanced manufacturing—something that requires innovation.

Chief Strategy Officer

Jason Azevedo

Chief Strategy Officer

Mr. Azevedo has had his heart in business development since an early age, starting a very successful apparel company that grew from humble garage beginnings to annual gross billings of over a million dollars.

In 2009, Jason co-founded Advoque, taking on the role of CEO — his talents are far beyond running the company, with duties touching conceptual development, engineering, and deployment. Since 2009, Jason’s been at the helm of growing the company year-over-year, acquiring several entities, and creating several others to round out manufacturing efforts. His emphasis on Made In America is a driving force for how the various companies he’s co-founded operate. He also assists with business development and client strategy and is an integral part of how we operate. Jason has worked on many key projects for companies such as Arista Networks, Best Buy, Costco, Disney, EA Games, Intel, Roku, Starbucks, Target, WalMart, and Warner Bros.

Personal interests range from riding dirt bikes and quads, to beach volleyball, to whiskey tasting, to learning to ranch horses, goats, cattle, and chickens. International travel weaves its way in there, too!

Keven Azevedo

Chief Product Officer

Mr. Azevedo co-founded Advoque in 2009, taking the role of COO and building the company from 3 employees, to a staff of 150. Before Advoque, Keven was co-founder and COO of Matteo Studios, an award-winning apparel company receiving assignments from clients such as Disney, Facebook, and EA Games. His attention to detail and ability to run an efficient production team has paved the way for his teams to hold true to timelines and quality control. Another key ingredient to his success: the cultivation and ability to foster opportunities for rising talent within evolving organizations.

Graduating from San Jose State University with a BA in History, Keven also played soccer for SJSU. His commitment to excellence has followed him into coaching youth soccer teams for the last eight years, being recognized as training the number one team in the nation for four years in a row — three of his players have gone on to professional careers in the United States, Mexico, and Europe.

In his spare time, Keven pursues personal passions: restoring classic cars and motorcycles, photography, camping, watching American and foreign films, and European travel.
